John Berthelot joins Wildcats coaching staff
ELLIOT LAKLE, Ont. — Connecting with the past with an eye on the future, the Elliot Lake Wildcats are pleased to announce that John Berthelot will be joining the Wildcat organization in the capacity of assistant coach.
John is no stranger to junior hockey and as a matter of record; the Berthelot family is entranced in NOJHL history from management, coaching to playing.
He along with his brothers Dave and Marty were all members of the Elliot Lake Vikings, 1982–83 NOJHL Championship Team.
Berthelot brings to the table a wealth of experience, a championship attitude with an unwavering passion for the game of hockey and a commitment to help bring Elliot Lake back to championship status.
Subject to final NOJHL approval, John could be behind the beach as early as Sunday when the Wildcats take on the Soo Thunderbirds at Centennial Arena.
