Natalie Bray - Vice President

Natalie is a lifelong area resident with Elliot Lake being her home for the past 15 years. She has over 12 years Municipal Government experience and has worked the last 10 years for the City of Elliot Lake as the Confidential Assistant to the CAO where she is actively working towards her CMO Designation.  Volunteering is a way of life for Natalie who currently sits on the Elliot Lake Pride Committee and is Vice President of the North Shore Parents Association of Dance.  Natalie sits on the Elliot Lake Wildcat Fundraising Committee and is also involved with the merchandise for the Wildcats.  This year Natalie has stepped into the role of Sponsorship Coordinator and Vice President on the Wildcats Board.  With a strong focus on partnerships, Natalie takes a proactive approach to business and pursuing new opportunities.

Harvey Hyndman - Director

Harvey was the founder and President of Spanish Sports Association from 1990 to 2000, bringing community and leadership to the youth of the North Shore. He was also the Deputy Mayor of the Town of Spanish from 1994 to ’97, and a small business owner in Spanish, ON from 1973 to 1993 (Service station, Motel, Garbage removal). Harvey’s volunteering efforts have not gone unnoticed as he has been an active member of the Lion’s Club for 43 years and was President for 5 terms, ELORA (Elliot Lake Organization for Refugee Action) Co-Chair January 2016 to present; ELNOS board member representing the Township of Shedon for 11 years; CNIB member for 18 years (Chairman for 1 term) and Faith Lutheran Church Chairman of the Board since 2009. We are pleased to add Harvey’s experience and knowledge on our Elliot Lake Wildcats Board of Directors.

Joanne Grisé-Cassivi - Director

Joanne is first and foremost a hockey fan.  She has been actively volunteering with the Wildcats from the day the team was founded in 2014. She was a board member at RSVP Communication Services (an employee owned company) for 12 years, along with being the Sales & Shipping Supervisor for 16 years.  She currently works as a Bookkeeper at a local daycare. Joanne takes care of all Social Media relations for the Wildcats, posting on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. Joanne has been our Fundraising Coordinator for 3 years and along with the help of her committee has raised large amounts of money for our Cancer Treatment Centre at St. Joseph hospital, well over $5,000 in a one night event – Pink in the Rink, helping raise $10,000 for the Autism Fundraiser, to go towards Sensory playground equipment.  Every season the Fundraising committee puts on one big event to raise funds that stay in this community. The committee and dedicated volunteers also spend their off season time hosting BBQ’s, tending bar for local events and more to help raise funds for the Wildcats Organization.

Greg Lawrence – Secretary/Education Advisor

Greg is a retired Teacher and Vice Principal and has served as an Investigator and Mediator for the Ontario Human Rights Commission.  He moved to Elliot Lake recently and is involved with a number of agencies and boards in the community. He is very honoured to be working with the Wildcats as Education Advisor, Billet Committee member and Secretary of the Board of Directors.

Brad Lees

Howard Hennessey - (leave of absence)

Born and raised in small town rural Nova Scotia, Howard acquired his passion for hockey; playing on ponds and outdoor rinks. Shortly after retiring from the Canadian Armed Forces in 1995 at the ripe old age of 39, Howard moved to Elliot Lake and engaged in a number of business ventures; related to small business development and tourism. In 2014, Howard was nominated as President of the newly created NOJHL franchise, the Elliot Lake Wildcats. Backed by a dedicated Board of Directors; devoted volunteers and excellent community support, the Wildcat Organization is committed to Excellence on and Off the Ice.
